About Us

Welcome To Our Church

North Lake United Methodists are a part of "The People with Warm Hearts." For over 187 years, North Lake UMC has journeyed, loved, and nurtured families in the Christian faith.

As a community of believers, it is our desire to grow and to be a center of hope, strength, and Christian love for all people.

Our Mission

To provide a center in the community where people can gather to live out the example of Jesus Christ.

Our Vision

We praise, worship, and love God while connecting and serving others.

What We Believe

The United Methodist Church shares a great deal with other denominations. Explore what we believe about God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the Bible, and more.

We also have a unique heritage and areas of emphasis. Learn what we mean when we talk about grace, how we serve people around the world, and how we grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.

Also, be sure to check out our answers to some common questions under the FAQ section.

How We Share Our Gifts

We are a mission-focused local church. We pay our ministry shares and apportionments to the Global Ministry of the United Methodist Church. We also have a church in Liberia (The United Methodist Churches in Liberia, Africa), which we support, a missionary at God's Country Community Ministries in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, and several other mission projects locally and around the world.

Our music program includes youth and adult praise team, brass bells and chimes for adults, crystal bells for children, and a puppet ministry.
